The Operator Behind Astria Logic
Astria Logic is Shawn Ballew: one operator, two decades of enterprise technology and operations, and an AI agent platform that turns that experience into a full department's output.
Operator First. Technologist Second. In That Order.
I spent twenty years inside enterprise technology and operations, most of it at global scale: infrastructure, data platforms, and the unglamorous systems that businesses actually run on. I've sat in the seats, carried the pager, and lived with the cost of systems that don't work.
In 2026 I put that experience behind a new kind of practice. Modern AI changed the math on what one experienced operator can deliver: with the agent platform I've built, I design, implement, and run systems at a pace that used to require a team. Not AI as a demo. AI as labor, directed by someone who knows what good looks like.
The first engagement proved it: the complete technology, data, and financial operations stack of a $60M distribution company, rebuilt in four months by one person. That story is on the case study page, with the numbers to back it.
"You get a senior operator who does the work, not a partner who sells it and a junior team who learns on your dime."
One point of contact. One person accountable. Every system built by the same hands that designed it, and every claim on this site traceable to something running in production.
How I Decide What to Build
These aren't values-page filler. They're the actual rules I work by, and clients see them show up in the work within the first week.
Fix systems, not symptoms
I trace problems to their root and redesign the process, not just the tool on top of it. Surface fixes create more technical debt.
Verify everything in dollars
Findings get quantified, savings get confirmed against the actual bill, and financial systems get reconciled to the penny. "Trust me" is not a deliverable.
Build for zero recurring manual work
Every system I ship is designed to run without a human remembering to run it. Automation that needs babysitting isn't automation.
Create capability, not dependency
Documentation, runbooks, and training are part of the build. Your team should understand the system, and my invoices should be easy to stop needing.
What "One Operator + AI Agents" Actually Means
Agents That Build
AI coding agents work in parallel under my direction, and autonomously overnight against the backlog. I review and ship; the throughput is a team's.
Systems That Watch Themselves
Everything I deploy carries its own monitoring: data-freshness watchdogs, health checks, cost alerts. Failures surface before your team notices.
Feedback That Fixes Itself
User feedback flows into AI triage and comes back as a proposed, reviewable fix. The loop from complaint to shipped correction is days, not quarters.
A Memory That Compounds
Every decision, architecture, and finding lives in a structured knowledge base the agents maintain. Context never gets lost between sessions, vendors, or months.
You'll Deal With Me, Start to Finish
No account managers, no hand-offs, no junior bench. If the problems on this site sound like yours, the conversation starts with the person who will actually fix them.
